How can Denver Broncos fans not get overly optimistic and insanely excited after the first quarter that the Denver Broncos just had in their third preseason game? They made the San Francisco 49ers look like the impotent team they had before head coach Jim Harbaugh came along, at least on defense. With Peyton Manning running a balanced offensive attack, the Broncos put up 17 points against the NFL’s No. 4 defense in 2011.
