They moved to strengthen their hand at cornerback prior to Week One by signing ex-Broncos CB Drayton Florence, who was released as Denver pared its roster to the 53-player limit. “He’ll come in and provide some good quality depth for them,” said an evaluator familiar with Florence, who has made 96 career starts. “He brings knowledge, instincts, toughness.” Florence’s ability to play both outside and inside is an asset, the evaluator said. …
