The Chicago Bears’ first preseason game –a 31-3 throttling at the hands of the Denver Broncos– was more or less a disaster. Potential long-term ramifications don’t apply yet because the Bears didn’t play their top talent and it was first game of the preseason. While the Bears might continue to show signs of holes, I don’t think there is too much to be concerned with yet. Because there are only four preseason games in the NFL I think we can begin taking them for more than they’re worth. …
