Greg Jennings, Julio Jones headline Week 12′s initial practice participation reports (Shutdown Corner)

We begin our mid-week NFL injury roundup with the three Thanksgiving Day games. Houston Texans nose tackle Shaun Cody (back/ribs), cornerback Johnathan Joseph (hamstring) and linebacker Tim Dobbins (shoulder) and No. 2 running back Ben Tate (hamstring) are all listed as “questionable” and all four are expected to be “game-time” decisions for Thursday’s game against the Detroit Lions, who will be without wide receiver Titus Young, who has a knee injury and was sent home from the team’s facility on Monday by head coach Jim Schwartz. The Lions will also likely be without left tackle Jeff Backus, who has started 186 consecutive games, a streak that will come to an end due to a hamstring injury suffered in Sunday’s loss to the Green Bay Packers. 2012 first round pick Riley Reiff will start for Backus. Lions safety Louis Delmas (knee), defensive tackles Nick Fairley (illness) and Corey Williams (knee) and cornerbacks Drayton Florence (concussion) and Jacob Lacey (foot) are “questionable”. Washington Redskins inside linebacker London Fletcher (ankle) and wide receiver Pierre Garcon (foot) are “questionable” for the Dallas Cowboys game. Fletcher missed Tuesday’s practice and was limited on Wednesday, putting his 234 consecutive games streak in jeopardy. The Cowboys will be without center Phil Costa (ankle) and could be without center Ryan Cook (knee) and running back DeMarco Murray (foot), who are listed as “doubtful”. The New England Patriots ruled tight end Rob Gronkowski (forearm/hip), guard Logan Mankins (ankle/calf) and first round defensive end Chandler Jones (ankle) as “out” for Thursday night’s game against the New York Jets. Thirteen Patriots are “questionable”, including wide receivers Brandon Lloyd (knee) and Wes Welker (ankle), tight end Aaron Hernandez (ankle), starting offensive linemen Dan Connolly (back) and Sebastian Vollmer (back/knee), linebacker Don’t'a Hightower (hamstring) and safeties Steve Gregory (hip) and Patrick Chung (shoulder/hamstring). Hernandez has missed the last three games after aggravating his ankle injury in October, but is expected to be active against the Jets. Seven Jets were listed as “questionable”, including nose tackles Sione Po’uha (back) and Kenrick Ellis (knee), linebacker Bart Scott (toe) and No. 2 quarterback and punt protector Tim Tebow, who has injured ribs.
