Manning Throws 3 TDs In Broncos 10th Straight Win

DENVER (AP) – Denver won its 10th straight game Sunday as Peyton Manning threw three touchdown passes for the 72nd time of his career in a 34-12 victory over the Cleveland Browns. Denver (12-3) pulled into a tie for first place in the AFC with Houston, which fell 23-6 to the Vikings. Manning finished with 339 yards on 30-for-43 passing. Von Miller was in on two sacks for the Broncos, the second of which knocked Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden out of the game with a right shoulder injury. Miller has 17 1/2 sacks on the season, breaking Elvis Dumervil ‘s franchise record. If Denver defeats Kansas City at home next week and Houston loses at Indianapolis, the Broncos would be the AFC’s top seed. By EDDIE PELLS, AP National Writer (© Copyright 2012 The Associated Press. Chris Kuper, Justin Tuck headline late game NFL inactive lists (Shutdown Corner)

Denver Broncos right guard Chris Kuper will miss a second consecutive game due to injuries to his ankle and head. Manny Ramirez will get the start for Kuper, who had been listed as “doubtful” on the Broncos’ injury report. In positive news for the Broncos, cornerback Tracy Porter is active and could play for the first time since Week 5. Porter has missed most of the season after experiencing symptoms similar to a seizure he suffered in August. The New York Giants will be without defensive end Justin Tuck, who had been listed as “questionable” with a shoulder injury that prevented him from practicing this week. For the Arizona Cardinals, quarterback John Skelton is inactive, leaving Brian Hoyer as the No. 2 behind rookie starter Ryan Lindley.
