ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — Denver Broncos cornerback Tracy Porter didn’t travel with the team to Cincinnati and will miss his third straight game as doctors continue to regulate his medication to control seizures. Porter wasn’t on the field Friday, a day after being cleared to practice. Coach John Fox said team doctors were still “regulating the medication. Not that it was a setback, but there was a little bit of an issue.” Porter also wasn’t allowed to fly to Denver’s game at San Diego on Oct. 15 after he experienced light-headedness and a racing heart — similar to the symptoms he felt before his seizure in August. He missed last week’s game against New Orleans. Porter has been replaced by Chris Harris in the starting lineup with Tony Carter moving up to nickel back. (© Copyright 2012 The Associated Press. Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh doesn’t think much of injury reports , so he probably won’t be reading this roundup. If Harbaugh did, he’d know that the Cleveland Browns ruled out Dimitri Patterson (ankle) and listed defensive tackle Ahtyba Rubin (calf) as “doubtful” for this Sunday’s game. The Browns did activate 2011 first-round defensive tackle Phil Taylor from the physically unable to perform list, placing defensive end Brian Sanford on injured reserve to fit Taylor on the 53-man roster. Sanford popped up on these “invaluable” injury report on Thursday with a knee injury. For the Ravens, defensive end Pernell McPhee (thigh) is out and defensive tackle Haloti Ngata is questionable with a shoulder injury. Ngata is expected to play, but perhaps in a more limited role. Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill (knee) was limited on Friday and the team sounds optimistic he’ll start against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. However, Tannehill is listed as “questionable,” which means there’s a 50/50 chance he won’t play, in which case the team would turn to Matt Moore. In addition to Tannehill, wide receiver Brian Hartline (groin) is “questionable,” but the team’s leading receiver is expected to play against a Colts secondary that will be without former Dolphins first-round cornerback Vontae Davis, who was ruled out with a knee injury. Colts second-round tight end Coby Fleener (shoulder) is also out, but the rest of the Colts’ injury report looks good as linebackers Dwight Freeney (ankle), Robert Mathis (knee) and Pat Angerer (foot) and running back Donald Brown (knee) are “probable” for this week’s game. The Atlanta Falcons announced on Thursday that outside linebacker Sean Weatherspoon would miss Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys with a low right ankle sprain. The Falcons have also ruled out guard Garrett Reynolds, which means 2012 second-round pick Peter Konz will make another start at right guard. Falcons wide receiver Roddy White (back) practiced fully on Thursday and Friday and is a go for the Dallas game. Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant missed all of this week’s practices after suffering a hip injury in the fourth quarter of last Sunday’s 29-24 loss to the New York Giants and is listed as “questionable” on the final injury report of the week.

But now, with multiple personnel packages, and tight ends who are really wide receivers, he fits this league perfectly. “The other player on that defense I really like is Chris Harris. I think he’s one of the best slot corners in the league, and nobody talks about him. Those two players, given that you play your sub packages so often in the NFL now — and certainly when you play teams like the Saints — those players are so critical to the success of this defense. And I think it’s a defense that will continue to get better as their offense gets better. He’s been working with me at NFL Films for two years. He walked into my office the other day after watching the Colts’ offense, and he said, ‘It just hit me — he’s running the same offense we ran in 2004 and 2005, when Ben Roethlisberger was young. I’m watching the plays, and I know all this stuff!’ It was really cool, because here was a guy who played for Pittsburgh, and it’s conceptually the same offense. “The thing for people who remember Reggie Wayne with Peyton Manning, when he pretty much lined up on the left side every single snap — he’s all over the formation in terms of where he starts and finishes his routes. This is what coaches look at when they gameplan, and this is the concept we’ve talked about before — receiver distribution and location. Where do receivers like up? What routes do they run? They know that if Reggie Wayne runs his inside route off the hip of the tight end, he’s going to run certain routes.
