Arizona: Coach Ken Whisenhunt won’t rush to name a starter for Sunday’s game at New England with QB John Skelton making rapid improvement. Skelton left the Cardinals win over Seattle on a cart with an ankle injury. “We still have a few days until the game. A lot of it is going to depend on how John (Skelton’s) ankle as it’s improving, continues to improve,” Whisenhunt said Wednesday. “We feel very fortunate that it was just an ankle sprain and a low ankle sprain at that. And he’s getting better quickly so we feel very luck about that.”

Baltimore: DT Haloti Ngata is coming off a two-sack game in which he saw snaps at nose tackle as the Ravens search for ways to beef up the pass rush. “We’ve got to get pressure up that middle, especially with Terrell Suggs being gone,” said Ngata. “We’ve got to get to that quarterback and make it easier for our guys in the secondary.”
