Oakland Raiders wide receiver Jacoby Ford was scheduled to have surgery on his left foot Tuesday afternoon in North Carolina and will miss a number of games, head coach Dennis Allen said during his weekly media conference on Tuesday.

Week two of NFL action is here and it is loaded with promise for those teams that dropped the ball in week one. Week one was a decent one for yours truly as I went 10-6 in straight up picks. That is not my usual percentage, but it is not bad to get the season rolling. Trying to pick NFL games is a loaded prospect.
