Mayors Bet Over Steelers-Broncos Playoff Game

DENVER (CBS4) – Denver Mayor Michael Hancock has declared Friday “Orange Friday” in the Denver metro area. He’s calling on everyone to wear Broncos orange and blue to show their support for the team as they get ready to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers at Sports Authority Field at Mile High on Sunday. Hancock spoke with Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstall on the phone Thursday afternoon. They wagered a friendly bet over the game. If the Broncos win, Ravenstall will wear a Broncos jersey and “Tebow” in front a popular Steel City landmark. If the Steelers win, Hancock will wear a Steelers jersey and wave a Terrible Towel during a public event. Kickoff for the Steelers-Broncos game is at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. If you can’t get to the big game, watch all the action on CBS4.
