INVESCO FIELD — Broncos lead 17-10 here midway through the third quarter, with positives abounding for both the Denver offense and defense.

Rainy night at Invesco

INVESCO FIELD — Well, it looks like the rain has finally stopped. Our friendly public address announcer in the press box just told us there is a 60 percent chance of rain for the rest of the night. Keep your fingers crossed that the showers are finished.

A couple of pregame notes:

- No surprises in the Broncos’ inactive list: C Tom Nalen (knee), CB Champ Bailey (hamstring), LB Boss Bailey (ankle), LB Louis Green (neck), WR Darrell Jackson (ankle), RB Ryan Torain (elbow).

- The starting lineup changes include: Casey Wiegmann at center, Jamie Winborn at SLB, Domonique Foxworth at LCB, and Eddie Royal at WR.

- Niko Koutouvides will be the first-team middle linebacker. He practiced with the first-team all week. Nate Webster started last week at Houston.

- I’m most interested to watch the battle in the trenches, for both the Broncos offensive and defensive lines. Any positions you’re particulary interested in seeing?

- This is my first time at Invesco, so I’m not sure if this is a tradition, but they had some sort of dog agility race on the field pregame. If I were the turf crew, that would make me a bit nervous. Those dogs were pretty well behaved though, considering the arena. My dog would have lost her mind.
