Starting right guard Montrae Holland was held out of Friday’s first practice because he showed up at training camp overweight.
Rookie left tackle Ryan Clady received a text message from his agent, Pat Dye at 4:30 a.m. It was a good bit of news to open the team’s 2008 training camp.

Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler said he was impressed with the play of troubled wide receiver Brandon Marshall on the first day of team workouts at Dove Valley on Friday.
